這是一本關於公車的書。
二〇二二年，因為工作地點的關係，只搭捷運的我開始搭公車上下班。以前不太敢搭公車，尤其是沒搭過的路線。想要克服，所以開始記錄每次搭公車的細節。司機、駕駛風格、內部環境，通通記下來，熟悉就不害怕，進行到變成習慣，變成遊戲。
同時身為不太會搭公車的一員（前身），當時和好朋友有一種 「無形的搭公車比賽」，我們都不太會搭，公車話題是一種默契。平常有戰績交流，當然也有為彼此的進步（像是轉車或搭新號碼）給予肯定，對話輯本書也會收錄。
觀察、收集、交流、記錄、輪廓、沿途風景、圖像延伸、方法，各種公車想像，像口袋一樣裝了很多雜七雜八、瑣碎又必須的日常。正如同公車的性格非常多元，是他們的迷人之處！
「公車好皮喔。」 有時候會這麼說。
This is a book about buses.
In 2022, I started taking the bus to work.At first, I was scared of unfamiliar routes—so I began recording each ride: drivers, driving styles, interiors. It became a habit, then a game.
Buses became a shared language between me and a friend. We’d trade stories, cheer each other on. This book collects those fragments. Like buses: messy, necessary, and full of character.
Sometimes we’d say, “Buses are kind of sassy.”
